'Trayectoria de un abrazo'

Embraces between two people are never the same. They change over time, with the evolution of the relationship, with the distance or closeness between the people embracing each other. The same gesture can contain completely different nuances depending on the moment in which it happens.

I believe hugs are among the simplest acts and, at the same time, among the most valuable that exist. In a world that seems to increasingly understand less and less the importance of human contact, a hug remains a silent and powerful form of care, refuge, and presence.

The people at the Porto Chamber of Culture invited me to intervene in this building and gave me complete creative freedom for the mural. So I decided to create this mural as a tribute to the embrace and to the different stages, emotions, and transformations it can go through.
