'Cultivador'

Almost 10 years ago, I painted a mural at a school in Loures, Portugal. When I first saw that wall, I noticed a quote from the Portuguese thinker Agostinho da Silva: “Per muito cuidado que se tenha, educar é podar; Deixar crescer com toda a força o ramo que nos gusta” ("No matter how careful we are, educating is like pruning; letting the branch that pleases us grow to its full strength.").

As soon as I read it, I discarded the sketch I had and quickly drew a graphic representation of the phrase, which became the mural I painted on the building's entrance facade (I've included a photo of that mural at the end of the carousel). Now, some time later, when the producers of @muraltalaz offered me the opportunity to paint this school, I decided to create a second version of that concept and once again portray teachers as cultivators of new generations.
